To enhance infrastructure resilience, CDRI’s capacity building efforts focus on strengthening the technical, managerial, and financial capacity of professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders across the infrastructure project lifecycle, spanning planning, design, construction, and operation, and maintenance.
This approach equips them with the expertise and tools necessary to reduce risks, optimize resilience strategies, and ensure long-term sustainability, fostering a more adaptive and robust infrastructure ecosystem capable of withstanding future challenges.

CDRI organized capacity building sessions throughout the year, strengthening resilience expertise for policymakers and practitioners, including through the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme, focusing on integrating resilience into transport sector planning and management.

CDRI is developing self-paced online and in-person training modules on Urban Water Infrastructure Resilience, DRI Lexicon, Resilient Health Infrastructure, and Resilient Telecom Infrastructure, hosted on the DRI Connect platform to enhance stakeholder knowledge and preparedness.

The FRA study consultation in Mauritius paved the way for CDRI’s national-level resilience workshop. Discussions with IORA advanced strategic collaborations, identified funding opportunities, and supported piloting CDRI’s FRA study framework, strengthening infrastructure resilience efforts globally.
