To strengthen hospital safety and resilience across Nepal, CDRI and WHO SEARO collaborated on a project assessing seven provincial hospitals using a bespoke WHO Hospital Safety Index.
Through capacity-building workshops and field assessments, provincial hospital staff acquired crucial expertise in disaster risk management and resilience strategies. The comprehensive assessment reports provide policymakers in Nepal with valuable insights to enhance hospital safety and resilience nationwide.
The project continues to provide expert guidance and actionable solutions for enhancing hospital preparedness nationwide.
